The petition is presently at 1461 against, quite substantial since much of the Pico population probably doesn't use computers.
In the real world such a structure is usually referred to as "Multi-Level Car Park" and hidden out of sight as far as possible. Not even a desperade Tramp would call it "4-Star Hotel".
I cannot comprehend the kind of ignorant, backward mentality which would conceive to impose such vile constructs into an area of outstanding beauty. Or anywhere else, for that matter. Same goes for the vast new Lajes School bunker and the Idiotic Ferry terminal.
